Step-by-step guide to using the water flosser
Setting up the water flosser: Press the M button to select the desired water pressure setting. Start at the lowest level if it's your first time.
Preparation: Fill the water tank with lukewarm water.
Inserting the tip: Place the tip in the center of your upper jaw.
Using the water flosser: Close your mouth slightly to keep the water inside. Keep your finger on the power button.
Starting and cleaning: Turn on the water flosser and keep your finger on the button.
Start in the center of your upper jaw and slowly move to the back molar on the left side.
Aim the water stream along the gum line and teeth.
Thorough cleaning: Pause for about one second at each interdental space.
Move the water flosser back and forth to thoroughly remove plaque and food particles.
Finishing: Turn off the water flosser when you have reached the back molar.
Remove the tip from your mouth and spit out the water.
Repeat: Repeat the above steps for the right side of your upper jaw.
Do the same for the left and right sides of your lower jaw.
Cleaning back teeth: Repeat these steps for the back of your teeth and gums in both the upper and lower jaws.
